Inspiration

-> women safety -> learning new languages

What it does

-> allows user to practice morse code

How we built it

-> used Grove Starter Kit Plus and Arduino RedBoard and IDE ->used LEDs, potentiometer, LCD Display, touch sensor, buttons, and buzzer -> coded in C/C++

Challenges we ran into

-> timing of human hesitation ->debouncing of buttons ->power supply to LCD display -> damaged hardware

Accomplishments that we're proud of

->learned how to use the hardware ->tested all of the hardware (one by one)

What we learned

->how to problem-solve with hardware ->how to communicate in morse :)

What's next for SafeSignals

->scaling to an app ->making hardware nicer to look at
