Inspiration
Walmart would let you scan your receipts to keep track of your grocery purchases. What if we could make it better?
What it does
A web app that securely stores your receipts, analyzes them, and offers a chatbot interface to better understand your finances, and assist in financial planning.
How we built it
We used Pinata's File API to store files from the user, NodeJS to handle the backend and plan to use LangChain to develop the AI solution.
Challenges we ran into
- Small team, lack of sleep
- Interfacing the frontend with the backend
- Unable to get to implementing AI model ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We got the Pinata File API to work correctly after several tries. ## What we learned
- We learned to work with Pinata and figured out how to handle file uploads/downloads in REST API calls.
