The world energy ecosystem and carbon footprint are intimately connected, as the energy sources we use and the way we consume them directly impact the amount of greenhouse gas emissions we produce. As we continue to seek out new and cleaner sources of energy, it is crucial that we reduce our carbon footprint to mitigate the impacts of climate change on our planet. Understanding the mathematics and the trends for emissions would assist society for the upcoming decades, to face the real challenge - to save the planet.

With this being my first Hackathon, I have initialised the idea of coding the projection of carbon footprint for major countries. As a Petroleum Engineering major, I helped the team with my skills and knowledge in energy, engineering and environment. We believe that advanced version of our project will be crucial for the society, and can make a worldwide impact in the upcoming years. Also, I helped the team in backend, and design of the project. Created the PowerPoint presentation of the project, for a better project representation.
