Inspiration

A Guy with name of Anand Kumar despite being to rural background and remote area, he struggled so much to prepare for university. Despite being in such situation he passed the entrance exam and is now is perusing Electrical Engineering at NUST.

We believe being to unprivileged background and remote area should not be a hurdle to enter the higher education and good jobs.

What it does

It is online portal with premium video courses, additional preparation material, community support and other helping tools.

  1. Our Courses are Affordable.[4 times less than institutions/less than what customers expected(gathered information via focus group of NUST top position holders)]
  2. It has same quality, as the teachers teachers in premium institutions would be teaching these course online.
  3. It's accessible to all the people helping people not living in metropolitan cities to access the same opportunity.

How I built it

Distribution Channels include web and mobile. For Web we are using React with node.js. Further for mobile we are planning to use react native.

Challenges I ran into

Other than technical challenges, convincing people to use our platform and preferring it over offline resources was big challenge.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are proud of making a viable product and on boarding people to use our product. Furthermore working in alliance with our educators is our accomplishment.

What I learned

We learned to understand people's pain points, listening to them.

What's next for ScoreBold

We plan to launch with full fledged courses by March, 2020 with mobile app. Within next 3 Year we plan to cover all competitive exams of Pakistan, including entry test to universities, CSS, ISSB, GRE and multiple others.
