Have you ever had some symptoms and you don't know what disease you got? Due to that many people will forget to check on doctors because they though it's just a simple pain or an easy thing. But later on, they might end up with a severe disease. So we sometimes don't go to doctors because we don't have money. Revenue in the Online Doctor Consultations segment is projected to reach US$21.98bn in 2022. Revenue is expected to show an annual growth rate (CAGR 2022-2027) of 10.01%, resulting in a projected market volume of US$35.41bn by 2027. Our platform will help low-income students or people who can afford doctor consultations. We provide them with a free app that can help them understand what their symptoms might mean.

What it does⚙️

We have a website and a telegram bot that uses Cohere NLP to detect the disease of your symptoms. It takes the input from the user in the form of i got and then the things which you are feeling and it will give you the predicted disease that the model thinks you have. Then based on that you might want to contact a doctor so we made a chat app that you can use to talk to a doctor. Our website uses Firebase and you can sign in using your Gmail account. This helps the user to consult the doctor and talk about it

How we built it

We built it using cohere AI, ReactJS, CSS, Firebase, Python, Telegram bot API

We used cohere AI to make the telegram bot so the patients can get to know the diseases they have by using our NLP model
We used Firebase to make the chatting app so the patients can consult the doctors as per their needs. The prediction is based on the Cohere NLP generation model. On the playground, we put a few pre-loaded prompts in the window on the playground. Cohere’s large language models read the prompt and decide what the most appropriate next tokens are to return. This is how the prompt works inside the Cohere platform to generate the disease based on the symptoms.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges such as:

Time zone difference, it was difficult to communicate
We used new techs, which we used to feel difficult in the past like Firebase react hooks

Despite all the challenges we faced we were able to complete the project
We had a goal from the beginning of doing a project

What we learned

We learned new tech such as Cohere endpoints, firebase, and telegram bot API. We also learned about firebase react hooks. We were also able to broaden our understanding of the Cohere end point generations and how to adjust the temperatures and tokens for better accuracy.
