inTECHview

Inspiration

The name of our product InTECHview , was inspired by the theme of providing candidates an insight into the process of interviewing in tech at a company.

What it does

Through using inTECHview, candidates can be matched with people who have interviewed previously in the company that they have selected, and so they could ask questions about the process of the interview in that company and learn from the matched person's experience.

How we built it

We first wrote our ideas down on the Mural brainstorming board, then we start creating the whole web app on Figma. We thought about the different functions, including upcoming interview notifications, finding a match of connections from people who have previously attended interviews in that certain company. And also allow the candidates to chat with all people who have been interviewed in that company.

Challenges we ran into

We found it difficult to find a perfect solution to the theme, but in the end, we broke the problems into smaller parts and created different pages to tackle the problem.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In the end, we managed to create this web app to help candidates to get more familiar with how the interviews would be like through matching with people that have experience in a certain field and the company's interviewing process.

What we learned

During the 36hours of the hackathon, we learned that it's difficult to get an idea into an actual working web app, and it takes a lot of time to make sure we did everything correctly.

What's next for inTECHview

After the planning, The team sets to start the full implementation of the project. The following features would be implemented and built with accessibility and usability in mind.

• A Landing Page
• A Dashboard for the users displaying their profile
• A matching page for users to connect with people who have been interviewed in that company
