Sluggerz Baseball is a skill- and timing-based baseball game built around a simple “hold and swipe” mechanic. I wanted to create something casual, easy to pick up, yet addictively fun. Players step up to the plate as a batter and can choose between two modes: Home Run Challenge and Slugger Train.

In Home Run Challenge, the goal is to hit as many home runs as possible within 20 pitches. In Slugger Train, players test their rhythm and consistency by seeing how many consecutive balls they can connect with in a single session.

Sluggerz Baseball was built using the Horizon Desktop Editor, Blender, Canva, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. The biggest challenge during development was time—especially after I got sick and lost several days of work. Another ongoing challenge has been dealing with AI-generated NPCs reverting to their default states.

Looking ahead, the next phase of Sluggerz Baseball is to expand it into a full-featured baseball experience, complete with an in-game economy, unlockables, and a robust rewards system.
