What it does
A personal financial management tool that helps individuals track their spending, set and achieve financial goals, and make a budget. This tool could be integrated into the digital banking platform or offered as a standalone service.
How we built it
Define the scope and features of the application. This would involve deciding what specific tasks and functions the tool will perform, such as budgeting, goal setting, and spending tracking.
Design the user interface and user experience. This would involve creating wireframes and mockups to visualize how the tool will look and function.
Develop the application. This would involve writing the code for the tool using a programming language such as Python, Java, or C#. You may need to work with a team of developers, depending on the complexity of the tool.
Test the application. This would involve running the tool through a series of tests to ensure that it is functioning correctly and is free of bugs.
Launch the application. This would involve making the tool available to users through a website or mobile app, and marketing it to potential users.
Maintain and update the application. This would involve fixing any issues that arise and adding new features and functionality over time to keep the tool relevant and useful to users.
Challenges we ran into
Technical challenges. Developing a new software application can be complex and require a high level of technical expertise. I may face challenges related to coding, testing, and debugging the tool.
Design challenges. Creating a user-friendly and visually appealing tool can be challenging, as it requires a good understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
Market competition. There are many other personal financial management tools on the market, and I will need to differentiate your tool from the competition to attract users.
Data security and privacy concerns. Handling financial data carries a high level of responsibility, and I will need to ensure that the tool is secure and compliant with relevant regulations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Idea, title, and description is innovative and avant-grande. The idea can be executed and created by a small-medium team working in different backgrounds. Having the same goal in mind it might take a month or two full-time to finish the application.
What we learned
Resource constraints. Building a new tool can be time-consuming and resource-intensive, and I may need to manage your team's time and budget carefully.
What's next for "Smart Savings"
To scale the project and application to the user. Making it a global and international application available for anyone and everyone.
