Inspiration

I attended the Sunnyday Art Market in NYC and was inspired by the welcoming community it brought. I wanted to attract the same community online where people can discover and support local artists even when they can’t attend markets in person.

SmolArtists is a platform designed to connect small artists and art-lovers. The website serves as a discovery hub that showcases emerging artists while keeping the community informed about local art markets and events, particularly in NYC.

What it does

This website showcases small artists that I found at art markets. It has links to their shops and tells people about upcoming markets. The design avoids clutter, focusing on a few artists to highlight quality over quantity. The design uses a warm look with soft peach and pink tones to reflect the cozy feel of small artist communities.
