Inspiration
Accessibility is becoming a more inclusive aspect of the world of technology and it is essential to understand that people exist with disabilities and their needs should be considered critical.
What it does
This program takes images of surroundings on click and parses this image through an AI system to give a summary of the details of the image
How we built it
The idea was to utilize OpenAI' s GPT-4-vision-preview API in a JS program, which is hereafter linked with a locally developed webpage by the team that includes a page that prints out the console messages containing the textual representation of the image.
Challenges we ran into
Initializing the API through JS was the major challenge we faced. We can also mention minor challenges such as selecting a program name, designing the website, and implementing the API to the application.

To be able to accomplish this in under 24 hours is an accomplishment we are proud of

There are opportunities for improvement in the inclusive world and it is an area of technology where more research needs to be conducted.
