Inspiration

The secondary sneaker market is $1.2B annually in the US, with over 20% identified as fake. This creates a high cost to platforms and companies without reliable alternatives for customers. Many of the centralized apps and methods to verify sneakers or luxury goods are not trustless.

What it does

Decentralized network of verifiers with accountability for each verifier. Customers can easily get their sneaker authenticity verified through the Soles app and pay a Verifier for the service using a Lightning QR code.

How we built it

Mobile App in typescript, expo, react native, javascript with lightning wallet setup.

What's next for Soles

Ability to list and sell shoes through verifier or on platform. Ability to verify other luxury goods. Ability to provide NFT to represent authenticity.
