Inspiration
As we know, the placement of solar panel is very costly and critical because placing solar panels in wrong or sub-optimal place will result in sub-optimal energy creation and sometimes they have to be replaced and/or destroyed which costs money.
What it does
This project aims to revolutionize the project planning for solar panels by optimizing their placement. Placing solar panels in the wrong or sub-optimal location can result in reduced energy creation and additional costs for replacement or reinstallation. Our solution provides a tool for users to input data in CSV format and generate insights for optimal panel placement on a grid.
How we built it
We utilized Python and Langchain to build the core functionality of this app.
Challenges we ran into
Hmm... well the idea is big and so is implementing it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Working as a team and collaborating across different time zones.
What we learned
Trim down bigger ideas and focus on only implementing a subset of it.
What's next for Solar Eye
implementing more features and doing what we initially set out to do.
