Inspiration
As a low income students growing up with immigrant parents, when told about bring your child to work day, that looked like a day at the supermarket or someone else's house my mom was cleaning that weekend. We grow up being told about the path we shouldn't take but no one shows us the path we SHOULD take. We know nothing about engineering and neither do our parents. We want to change that and build a bridge for students to take a look into careers as engineers.
What it does
Our website partners students to a mentorship program that last 6 months long and open their eyes to the engineering life and all its benefits.
How we built it
Using javascript on the front end as well as python and sqLite on the backend.
