Spotify Web3 DApp

Inspiration

My inspiration for this project was creating something using new/futuristic technologies such as Cryptocurrency and Blockchain while at the same time allowing it to be simple and easy for users to use.

What it does

This is a simple website that uses free Test Ether to carry out transactions to allow users to save their favorite Spotify playlist links on the blockchain.

How I built it

It uses a smart contract coded in Solidity using HardhatJS and deployed on the Goerli testnet network by connecting to the user's MetaMask Wallet

Challenges I ran into

Finding useful and relevant material on the internet to help me follow and customize to create this project.

What I learned

I learned how to code a smart contract in Solidity and the basics of React.js and Ether.js

What's next for Spotify Web3 DApp

Tinker around with it and eventually make it into something more impactful and relevant such as securely storing user passwords, and sensitive information on the Web3.
