Stack Overflow Question Recommendation System

Inspiration

Many questions on stack overflow are duplicates and many of them remain unanswered. So to help users seek answers faster rather than waiting around, this system was generated.

What it does

This system suggests previously answered questions that match your query contextually and ranks the suggestions.

How I built it

Used Stack Overflow dataset, built prediction models using scikit and nltk text processing, evaluated and visualized the results.

Challenges I ran into

Huge-scale text data processing

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The predictions are accurate atleast 75% times.

What's next for Stack Overflow Question Recommendation System

A recommendation system for experts to find out questions that are most interesting to them and they would like to answer.
