What it does
My AI model can analyze a picture and detect if there are any constellations in the picture. It also classifies constellations. It has a few filters as well to get more precise results.
How we built it
I made a dataset with around 4.8k images on Roboflow and trained the model with yolov8. I then rendered the results on an HTML page.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I amproud of collecting so many images in our dataset. I am also proud that everything went smoothly and encountered no critical issues.
What's next for Star Sorter
I could add more images to our dataset so that our model gets much more accurate. Icould also add special code snippets to further analyze the images using pytorch.
