Inspiration

Building products has never been easier. With AI code editors and no-code platforms, founders around the world can ship real apps in days. But running a startup is still hard. Strategy, pricing, fundraising, growth, and financial decisions are unstructured - especially for global builders & solo founders. Most founders do not fail because they can't build. They fail because they lack executive-level decision making.

Startup Director was inspired by this gap -> if AI can help build products, Startup Director helps run the company with the discipline & clarity of a leadership team.

What it does

Startup Director is an autonomous executive board that runs a startup in real time. Founders interact with a boardroom interface where the system understands intent and activates the correct executive agent - strategy, product, growth, sales, finance, fundraising without any manual agent selection. The output is an executive-grade decisions and real artifacts such as GTM plans, roadmaps, pitch decks, financial analysis, and UX audits from uploaded screenshots. The experience feels like working with a leadership team, not a chatbot.

All strategic outputs are quantified with executive-grade estimations (impact ranges, time horizons, confidence levels) to support real decision making.

It is for both Web2/AI & Web3/Blockchain startups

How I built it

It was built using Google AI Studio with the Gemini 3 API. Gemini 3 used for intent understanding, deep reasoning, and multimodal analysis, including interpreting screenshots for UX audits and analyzing pitch decks for feedback and scoring and for creating pitch decks. The frontend is a React + TypeScript.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge was avoiding the feel of chatbot and boring results. Executive decision-making requires clarity and confidence. Another challenge was routing intent to the correct agent accurately - knowing whether a question was strategic, product, sales, financial, or fundraising related without asking the user to choose. And another challenge was to create high-quality pitch decks.



Finally, generating realistic, quantified outputs rather than AI responses.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that Startup Director feels like a real product, not a demo. The system produces executive-grade outputs across strategy, product, growth, finance, and fundraising. I successfully integrated multimodal capabilities, allowing users to upload screenshots for UX audits and pitch decks for analysis and improvement and for creating pitch decks.

What I learned

I learned that the real value of AI is not in doing more tasks but in making better decisions. When AI is framed as an executive system rather than a tool, users engage with it more seriously and trust its outputs. I also learned that simple UI leads to better user experience.

What's next for Startup Director

The goal is to make Startup Director into a full AI operating system for founders - a real-time executive intelligence that helps run and manage startups globally. My vision is to build a category defining company that enables founders to operate with clarity.
