Inspiration

Our inspiration came from one of our own team members, he noted how bad his experience with the child support system has been. We decided to give the topic some discussion time and we created diagrams of the problems that fathers and mothers involved in child support face.The array of problems listed made us realize the importance of this matter and many potential solutions for some of them.

What it does

  • It facilitates parents to find jobs nearby
  • look for the closets law firms and courts
  • Keeps track of pictures of parent and child creating a chronological log of events

How we built it

We build it using android, IBM Watson, Google Maps, NYC open data, Google calendar, Stripe and Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

  • Implementing face recognition

We are successfully using 4 different APIs in our App

What we learned

-Became familiar with multiple Apis implemented in our App. -gained valuable experience in Android technology.

What's next for SupportSolutions

-Chat system to provide comunication with affiliator's lawfirm.
