Syllacal is a web service that imports all the vital exam dates and deadlines from your syllabus into your calendar

This allows you to plan your semester in the most convenient way possible!

We used Django, CSS, HTML (Bootstrap), and Python.

First, Syllacal scans your given PDF. It then exports relevant information surrounding a date (ex. 09/10, 09-10, September 10) to an .ics file This can be converted to your calendar (iCalendar, Google Calendar, and more).

I worked on building the backend in Django as well as formatting our templates so that our Django backend can serve the templates and interact with button clicks.

I worked with Andrew on backend. I had never used Django before, and the fact that it used Python as a programming language was new to me as well. However, I believe in the time allotted, we did a great job.
