With Tablus, we propose a "Tabless" web browsing paradigm, focused on finding your answers as efficiently and as cleanly as possible! We combine browser automation techniques with a beautiful Tiled UI to deliver the next generation of finding answers. 💻🤖

What it does

You ask... we ask you back. We dynamically generate questions to narrow down and focus on finding the most relevant and useful web results for you.

Once you answer a few of our questions, we open up a beautiful, live-streamed agentic browser, researching your topic thoroughly while you make your breakfast! 🍳 Our dynamic dashboard will begin reasoning, getting insights, and building your perfect results list.

Once ready, you'll have tons of highly relevant sources, images, summarized information, and a full remote browser running to answer your questions! We guarantee you'll solve your problem, find that pair skiis you've been meaning to purchase, or learn something new! 🫡

How we built it

Tablus was designed using a combination of the latest agentic and operator technology from Browserbase, SerpAPI, and Firecrawl to access large batches of web data, Gemini to structure all of this information into clean, formatted English, and FastAPI as the backend with NextJS as the frontend for quick and reliable software development.

We connected these technologies through custom APIs, Sockets, Tunnels, and other deployment and connectivity strategies.

Challenges we ran into

We had major trouble communicating with the agentic browser system as this needed to be embedded within the Tablus interface while also interacting with the backend systems for data collection, aggregation, cleaning, and display.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We finished the project with phenomenal success, having built an elegant alternative to expensive products like Manus or OpenAI's Operator Agent. We created a novel way to browse the internet with the system prompting the person
