Inspiration
Instead of short-term-work, allowing individuals to act as a key-worker in the critical infrastructure industry.
What it does
Building a bridge between industries with workforce (key-workers) demand with key-workers that are in short-term-working programs or unemployed and provide them with jobs during the crisis.
Process
Critical infrastructure suppliers identify fields in their companies where shortages of personnel could occur and a pool of key-workers should be built. They provide positions that are required in their companies and get asked for required skills.
Interested persons register on the platform and choose work areas in which they are interested to broaden their skill set and apply for these fields.
Companies provide a community for the interested workers and keep them up-to-date on the requirements.
Interested workers use the learning resources and community to learn the required skills and therefore reduce the time that is needed for entering the position when they are required.
If a company has a personnel shortage, they contact the workers that have used the learning resources and negotiate short term contracts with them in order to quickly bridge the gap in the personnel availability.
