Teachers spend a lot of time creating assessments that are standard and don't change over the years. We offer a way to customize learning for students in a way that helps ease the stress of teachers.

Inspiration

We realized the huge impact ChatGPT and other AI Platforms have when it comes to education as we’ve seen the effects it has on our own education. Due to this, we wanted to use AI as an advantage and turn it into something educators can use to help students learn at their own pace. This helps reduce the feeling of defeat in seeing other students around advancing faster than others.

Challenges We Faced

  • Errors in not reading files correctly or not being read in correctly
  • Since everyone was working on different things, we had to make sure our work did not overwrite or clash with anyone else’s work.
  • It was also a challenge to understand someone else’s code to connect everything together
  • In the backend, dealing with test cases that could potentially occur and fixing them

Accomplishments

  • Overcoming our challenges and being able to create an effective and working platform/app that could help many educators and students.
  • Being able to incorporate a form of AI into our project to help meet the goal of the prompt and the company needs.

What we learned

  • Various new techniques in building an app like the one we made
  • Learning a new depth to the languages we already know and gaining new/useful information
  • How to work together and be able to effectively merge all our ideas/code together
