Inspiration
This project was inspired by the allure of eSignatures.
What it does
Tecquetta is an eSignature website developed for MAP International. The NPO's forms are organized under two categories: medical supplies and surgical supplies, their dedicated cards displayed in the application's home page. Redirected to their respective pages, a room of forms is displayed, and upon clicking a form, the user is lead to a DocuSign signing ceremony page to complete the form. Afterwards, the user is redirected to a supplies page he came from.
How we built it
This application uses Spring Boot and VueJS for its stack, and utilizes the DocuSign eSignature Java API for implementing signing ceremonies and rooms.
Challenges we ran into
SpringBoot/Maven is not finding Objects.requireNotNullElse(), and I am getting a MojoExecutionException as a result.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud to have officially connected Vue and Spring altogether.
I'm also proud to have fixed the requireNotNullElse() issue by explicitly defining the Java version in the Maven command.
What's next for Tecquetta
I hope for this project that Tecquetta would become like WordPress, where there would be a dedicated eSignature and PDF creation website for a company hosted by Tecquetta.
Another thing that's next for Tecquetta is the ability to save new documents to the application. Right now, it does not have the ability to do it, so adding that functionality is a must for the future.
Other features that would be beneficial for Tecquetta developing the document creator, uploading/deleting documents, implementing the Authorization Code Grant functionality, form images/icons displayed on form cards in the Medical and Surgical Supplies Acquisition pages, and getting the backend fully functional.
