How it works
TipYa is a proximity based micro-transaction iOS App that will allow anyone with a phone to accept tips from fans using bluetooth technology and payment services including Bitcoin. By providing you with a platform to instantly explore anyone's creative work online, you can connect with your favorite artist in a more effective and direct way.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenge that TipYa solves is integrating proximity based technology with payment methods especially when it comes to small transactions without involving a third party intermediate.

Like any innovative and disruptive idea, TipYa's future lies in exploring the potential of technology to solve problems, in this case connecting content creators with content consumers on a more intimate and personal way. We plan on integrating multiple payment systems, localization technologies while keeping a focus on the social networking aspect of modern artistic expression.
