Inspiration
Being a man of color, I wanted to make something that can help us, from one of us. I want to help bring the change that I want to see
What it does
Its supposed to be a multifunctional app, including a journal, mood calculator, methadone calculator, job board, community forum, recovery plan, and resource board for food, clothes, and other assistance.
How we built it
using react native, OpenAI agent and Rag pipeline to begin building out the mood calculator, methadone calculator, and begin creating a cultural chat bot that would help filter through the resources we've been gathering. supabase for oath and database.
Challenges we ran into
mostly the time restraint as we found out about this hackathon late. a lot of the resources we are waiting on, are coming from community leaders here in SF. also my teammates had a family emergency.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Begin building something that i'm proud to continue building even after this hackathon. I've now met and know a lot of community leaders that I will work with here in the Bay Area.
What we learned
Ive learned more about agent building and what needed in the community.
What's next for TP-ThePack
Building out the apps MVP and then onboarding the resources from the community and getting the product in the hands of people.
