Inspiration
I come from a place where trees have always been deeply respected. Thinkers like Francis Hallé have always fascinated me. Trees exist not only in nature but also as powerful symbols in games, inspiring both wonder and play.
What it does
This asset brings trees to life. They seek out light, adapting naturally to their surrounding environment as they grow. You can prune them, sparking new growth—no two trees are ever the same. Whether you’re building a cozy plant-growing game or a mythical adventure with a legendary tree, this template gives you the perfect starting point.
As a bonus, it also includes a moving sky, drifting clouds, and flowing water—all without shaders!
How we built it
With a lot of mathematics (and patience).

The hardest part was solving the math behind natural growth—while also racing to meet the competition deadline alongside my work on Sakura Café.
What’s next for Tree Simulator
I plan to:
- Enable precomputed trees directly in the editor.
- Expose per-branch pruning to players.
- Create dynamic trees with animated growth.
- Expand and integrate everything from my personal remix of this world.
