Inspiration
An affinity for the expedient and fun Processing language, a hackathon focus on big data, caffeine, and a need to see who is always angriest on Twitter.
What it does
Aggregates the 100 most recent tweets of any Twitter account, rates their sentimentality, and plots them as colorful, interactive links on a 2D graph.
How we built it
Processing and HTML5 front-end, Python server and data aggregation, PHP and Flask for dynamic web development.
Challenges we ran into
Conversion of the Processing .pde file into a javascript file to be directly embedded into the website display.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The polished, working nature, combination of many languages and teammate specialty skills.
