Inspiration

I noticed how easily people get disconnected in the workplace, even though teamwork and understanding are the foundation of unity. I wanted to create something simple that reminds people that unity starts with everyday interactions around us. We have to maintain unity and peace starting with ourself and people around us. This lays the foundation for global unity and peace.

What it does

United We Stand! is a calming, minimalist website that teaches the basics of unity, provides a workplace unity checklist, gives uplifting quotes, and offers a “How To” guide to help people build more supportive environments. It’s designed to gently inspire connection and teamwork.

How it's built

The project is built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The design focuses on a clean, minimalist structure with gentle blue tones to create a peaceful user experience while keeping the interface simple and easy to navigate.

Challenges

My main objective was to keep the design minimal but still engaging. I also worked on making the layout consistent across the pages and ensuring everything felt calming and user-friendly.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I’m proud of creating a simple tool that encourages people to reflect on unity and build healthier workplace relationships. I also maintained clean, organized, and scalable code throughout the project, making it easy to expand in the future.

What I Learned

I strengthened my frontend development skills and learned the value of designing with intention rather than complexity. This project reminded me that even small digital tools can create emotional impact when built thoughtfully.

What's next for United we Stand!

I plan to expand the project with features such as:

  1. A personal unity progress tracker
  2. Additional educational modules
  3. Team-building activity suggestions
  4. A registration system for organizations to monitor compassion, unity, and inclusion within their workplace
