Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project was to overcome the common challenge humans face, choosing a good outfit for the today.

What it does

Our website gives recommended outfits based on user prompts. It also picks clothes that a user should wear based on prior user-inputted images of their clothes.

How we built it

We built our website using REST APIs with Flask for the backend. For the frontend, we primarily built it using React, with SQLite as the database.

Challenges we ran into

Setting up the image processing, sorting images, and trying to fit all the features of our website within the deadline.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud that the AI can correctly categorize user images and give an appropriate output.

What we learned

We learned how to create a good web app that stores user information, we also learned how to thoroughly use the UM-GPT AI.

What's next for VirtuWear

Continuing to better the UI for the website and having a more expansive database for the AI to use.
