Inspiration

Navigating the immigration process can be overwhelming due to the intricate legal language and the sheer volume of information to sift through. Our inspiration for VisaGPT was born out of a desire to make this process more accessible and less daunting for individuals around the globe.

What it does

VisaGPT is an AI-powered tool that provides clear, accurate answers to immigration-related queries. It uses advanced language understanding capabilities to interpret complex questions and respond in a user-friendly manner. Whether it's about different visa types, immigration laws, documentation, or procedural guidance, VisaGPT is equipped to assist.

How we built it

We built VisaGPT utilizing GPT-4, a state-of-the-art language model developed by OpenAI. This model enables VisaGPT to comprehend and generate human-like text. The system is also built on Streamlit, a powerful tool for creating data apps quickly, providing an interactive web application interface for users.

The data that powers VisaGPT's responses is compiled from reliable immigration sources and processed into a format that GPT-4 can utilize effectively. Over time, VisaGPT learns from its interactions, refining its responses and enhancing its accuracy.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we faced was ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the information provided by VisaGPT. This required rigorous testing and tweaking to ensure the model correctly interprets the user's questions and provides accurate responses.
