Why we made this app

We wanted to create Volntr to address the need for an easy-to-use platform that connects teenagers with local non-profits and community organizations. As teenagers ourselves, we understand the challenges of finding meaningful volunteer opportunities that align with our interests and schedules. By creating Volntr, we aim to make it easier for teenagers to give back to their communities while gaining valuable skills and experiences. We believe that by making it easy to find and sign up for volunteer opportunities, we can help inspire a new generation of active and engaged citizens who are passionate about making a difference in the world.

How We built it

The app was built using a combination of cutting-edge technologies and tried-and-true web development frameworks. By leveraging the power of python, Flask, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. With real-time collaboration on Replit, we have created a smooth and intuitive browsing experience that is sure to impress. Each of these technologies plays a critical role in the functionality and design of the website, and we are constantly striving to stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest tools in order to provide the users with the best possible experience.
