Inspiration

Space Exploration is really cool but not many people are interested. I wanted to create a fictitious event where users can learn and experience mars using virtual reality.

What it does

Users are allowed to sign up and receive email notifications for the event. They can learn what the event is about, facts about about mars, and even interact with a chat bot.

How we built it

I built it from scratch using html, css, js and the chat bot is hosted on Tidio. I also used firebase for the sign up page.

Challenges we ran into

I found it difficult to write all of the content. Especially the fun facts page, which took a long time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I was able to implement a working chatbot.

What we learned

I learned how to store sign up information with Firebase and use chat bots.

What's next for VRMars

I want to try to build a real VR environment that users can maneuver around for demonstration purposes.
