Inspiration
The inspiration for Washes came from Roombas, automatic vacuums. I took it one level further by pushing the limits, bringing a typically large machine into a small, and consumer friendly format.
What it does
Embarrassing trips to the store are no longer a task! Simply wash your car with remote start before leaving.
How I built it
With Figma! Also the tech side would include a hose that attaches to the machine along with a connected power source that aren't built into the machine. This makes the machine much lighter, more mobile and more affordable for consumers.
Challenges I ran into
I'm a UX Designer who started this project at 12:30am EST on September 18, 2022. I have no team because I was networking and having an amazing time learning from the events. Due to this their will be holes in things such as research and the technology used. Update: I proudly finished the project at 2:08am EST.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud of demoing, regarding the limited amount of time I had to make this project. I am also proud of making this project in 1 hour and a half.
What I learned
That I can still do every event I want at Hack the North and still submit a project.
What's next for Washes
Next up for Washes would be to grab a team of hardware developers or attempt to learn my self how to build this product. I hope that it can impact the lives of people, making their cars look clean everyday.
