Inspiration

As a group of avid travelers and adventurers we all share the same problem: googling "places to visit" for hours, deliberating reviews, etc. We really wished someone did all that for us. This inspired us to create WizeWay.AI, which creates a personalized itinerary using AI algorithms.

What it does

WizeWay.AI takes in your inputs, such as the info of the travelers, the destination, individual preferences such as pet accommodations and dietary restrictions, and creates an itinerary based on your departure/return date.

How we built it

We utilized available generative AI APIs such as GPT 4.0.11 interfacing with the Taipy framework to create a web application in Python.

Challenges we ran into

Using Taipy was fairly challenging as the only help available on the internet is the Taipy documentation. We further ran into challenges with formatting using Taipy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a web application that uses AI to make peoples liver easier, which is what coding and artificial intelligence are all about.

What we learned

we learned how to use the Taipy framework and the OpenAI API. We also learned proper practice for code documentation and github collaboration. We furthered our full stack development skills as we incorporated a bit of CSS into the front end.

What's next for WizeWay.AI

We are hoping to continue the project using interfacing with google maps, location tracking, shortest path algorithms, public trasnsit integration, account validation, offline support and much more.
