Inspiration
We often cannot find any available workspaces on campus to work in groups. At least we must walk for a considerable time before finding a space. This is a waste of time. We must be able to do better.
What it does
Displays available and occupied tables in the common workspaces on campus.
How we built it
We built it using wireless sensors that detect the precence of people at a table.
Challenges we ran into
We have had some challenges getting the data from the sensors all the way to a web server. It turns out web development is not excactly like embedded software
What we learned
We learned about the complexity of making a web page, that interacts with the physical world.
