Inspiration

In Uzbekistan, booking a sports facility is often a frustrating process due to lack of centralized information and digital services. Many venues remain underutilized simply because people don’t know how to access them. This real-world problem inspired us to create Zubron — a smart and easy-to-use platform to help people find and book sports complexes in just a few clicks.

What it does

Zubron allows users to: Search for sports facilities by location, sport type, or availability View real-time information about public and private venues Book training or event slots directly from the platform Get details like opening hours, pricing, and available services It connects users with available infrastructure efficiently and transparently.

How we built it

We developed Zubron using: ASP.NET Core for the backend PostgreSQL for database management HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the frontend interface GitHub for collaboration and version control Figma for UI/UX design Our team followed agile principles and worked in short, focused sprints.

Challenges we ran into

Finding reliable data about facilities across different cities Ensuring smooth performance while handling real-time availability Designing a clean, responsive user interface within limited time Managing time effectively under hackathon pressure

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a working prototype in a short timeframe Creating a user-friendly booking system from scratch Developing a clean and scalable architecture Working together effectively as a team

What we learned

Real-time system design and availability handling Effective team communication and task division Importance of user-centered design for public platforms Deploying a full-stack solution with limited resources

What's next for ZudBron

Adding payment gateway integration Mobile app development for wider access Partnering with government and private facility providers Expanding to include gyms, pools, and stadiums nationwide We believe Zubron can become the go-to sports booking platform in Uzbekistan and improve the country’s sports culture and digital infrastructure.
