Design a signature consulting offer that creates the leverage your career experience deserves.

A 4-day workshop that turns your experience into a high-leverage offer for your tech career—without being the implementer.

The 4-day shift from skilled contributor to trusted advisor

Most experienced developers think the only way forward is climbing higher up the ladder—or grinding it out in hourly consulting or freelancing.

But both paths keep you stuck in someone else’s game. This workshop is different.

In 4 sessions, you’ll shift out of skilled contributor thinking and step into the clarity, confidence, and control of a trusted advisor with a signature offer.

đź“… Day 1: Positioning for Value

Most experienced developers can do a lot of things. But every new project only values a fraction of that experience. Over time, the rest of your skills fade into the background, and your return on learning keeps shrinking. Being seen as a generalist shuts you out of key decisions, and caps your earning potential.

On day 1, you’ll step back and look at your career through a business lens—growth, efficiency, risk, and user satisfaction. You’ll choose to help companies overcome a problem they have with achieving a business goal (the measurable outcome leadership actually cares about). By the end of the day, you’ll see how to position yourself as an advisor for overcoming a technical aspect of that problem, rooted in your experience.

đź“… Day 2: Designing Advisory Activities

Coding, configuration, and building other technical assets is where all developers start their career. But showing companies how to do those things without being the one to do them yourself is what makes companies see you as a strategic partner.

On day 2, you’ll explore how audits, training, workshops, and even AI prompts can increase your value well beyond slinging code. It’s hard to justify paying you a premium for work most employees can do. By the end of the day, you’ll see how you can guide your client to help themselves solve their problem. And get paid for your hard-earned insights and experience.

đź“… Day 3: Filtering for Viability

The mistake most developers make is thinking they should offer the thing they do best. But it’s not enough to be capable. Valuable advisory offers also have to be financially viable—and sold to people who urgently want to solve the problem you help with.

On day 3, you’ll determine which industry vertical is the best market to find potential buyers of your offer. And you’ll use value-based pricing estimates to help you filter for offers that are worth at least $300/hr. By the end of the day, you won’t just know what a signature offer looks like. You’ll decide whether it’s valuable and feasible enough to pursue.

đź“… Day 4: Identifying your Ideal Client

Putting a new offer in front of the wrong people can be discouraging. But when someone is already out searching for help with the problem your offer solves, meeting you is like a breath of fresh air.

On Day 4, you’ll identify which job roles own the problem you solve within their own company. These are your potential clients. By the end, you’ll know whether you’re ready to validate your offer through conversations with real people—or more clarity is needed first.

Why this workshop actually works

Many developers try to go solo through hourly freelancing or contracting.

But they stall without a proof-of-concept offer rooted in business value worth pursuing.

This workshop gives you a starting position and language to begin learning from real conversations—and that’s what leads to sales.

In 4 days you’ll leave with:

  • A clear business value position so decision makers treat you as a strategic partner.
  • A list of potential advisory activities you can deliver repeatedly to multiple clients.
  • A target market focus so you know which industry and buyer to get your offer in front of.
  • A first pass at pricing so you pursue an offer with a potential $300/hr or more for your time.
  • A next step recommendation so you know whether you’re ready to talk to people, or more clarity is needed first.

Meet your guide

I’m Jayme Edwards, and I’ve spent 30 years in software industry. First as a developer and architect, then as a consultant, coach, and creator. Over the years I’ve worked with more than 25 companies across industries ranging from finance to healthcare to energy. That breadth taught me a critical lesson: no matter the stack or domain, developers face the same trap of being undervalued.

Through my YouTube channels “Developer Reborn”, “Healthy Developer”, and private coaching—I’ve worked with hundreds of developers worldwide. And I’ve seen firsthand how reframing their experience into business value can help them be positioned for higher leverage while working in tech.

Reserve your spot now

This is where leverage begins.

You don’t need a perfect plan. You don’t need a list of “proven references” for clients you’ve already helped.

You just need 4 evenings, $750, and the courage to find out what you’re worth—when you stop selling yourself like a commodity.

What you get

  • A structured, interactive workshop that reshapes how you see and communicate your value
  • Real-time feedback from Jayme to sharpen your offer as you build it (and learn from peers doing the same)
  • A private discord community to share wins, ask questions, and build momentum
  • Recordings of every session so you can rewatch or catch up anytime

Seats capped to maintain quality guidance—enrollment for the 4th cohort closing March 15th, 2026.
