đź“… 4th cohort starts March 16th 2026 @ 7:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM PT
Design a signature consulting offer that creates the leverage your career experience deserves.
A 4-day workshop that turns your experience into a high-leverage offer for your tech career—without being the implementer.
You’ve built serious technical skills, but you still feel like a task-runner.
Deep down, you probably know you’re worth more to a business than getting paid a salary—or by the hour.
💡 What you’re missing isn’t ability. It’s positioning.
The 4-day Signature Offer Workshop is where experienced software professionals finally stop being measured by output, and step into work that pays what their impact is actually worth.
This workshop is about a smarter way of working in tech. Where companies pay you to advise them on solving a problem that needs your direction and insights. And you’re paid for how your work impacts the business—not the hours you work.
Getting paid for your business impact unlocks the freedom and autonomy that’s missing from your career. And companies treat you like a partner, not a pair of hands.
In just four days, you’ll map your experience to business value, design an offer that positions you as a trusted advisor, and know which people make the best potential clients to discuss it with.
📅 DATE: March 16th to 19th 2026 — 4th cohort now enrolling

Build an offer for a signature advisory service along with other experienced software professionals, guided live by Jayme Edwards over Zoom.
“From skilled contributor struggling for leverage →
to trusted advisor controlling your direction, income, and future.”
The 4-day shift from skilled contributor to trusted advisor
Most experienced developers think the only way forward is climbing higher up the ladder—or grinding it out in hourly consulting or freelancing.
But both paths keep you stuck in someone else’s game. This workshop is different.
In 4 sessions, you’ll shift out of skilled contributor thinking and step into the clarity, confidence, and control of a trusted advisor with a signature offer.
đź“… Day 1: Positioning for Value
Most experienced developers can do a lot of things. But every new project only values a fraction of that experience. Over time, the rest of your skills fade into the background, and your return on learning keeps shrinking. Being seen as a generalist shuts you out of key decisions, and caps your earning potential.
On day 1, you’ll step back and look at your career through a business lens—growth, efficiency, risk, and user satisfaction. You’ll choose to help companies overcome a problem they have with achieving a business goal (the measurable outcome leadership actually cares about). By the end of the day, you’ll see how to position yourself as an advisor for overcoming a technical aspect of that problem, rooted in your experience.
đź“… Day 2: Designing Advisory Activities
Coding, configuration, and building other technical assets is where all developers start their career. But showing companies how to do those things without being the one to do them yourself is what makes companies see you as a strategic partner.
On day 2, you’ll explore how audits, training, workshops, and even AI prompts can increase your value well beyond slinging code. It’s hard to justify paying you a premium for work most employees can do. By the end of the day, you’ll see how you can guide your client to help themselves solve their problem. And get paid for your hard-earned insights and experience.
đź“… Day 3: Filtering for Viability
The mistake most developers make is thinking they should offer the thing they do best. But it’s not enough to be capable. Valuable advisory offers also have to be financially viable—and sold to people who urgently want to solve the problem you help with.
On day 3, you’ll determine which industry vertical is the best market to find potential buyers of your offer. And you’ll use value-based pricing estimates to help you filter for offers that are worth at least $300/hr. By the end of the day, you won’t just know what a signature offer looks like. You’ll decide whether it’s valuable and feasible enough to pursue.
đź“… Day 4: Identifying your Ideal Client
Putting a new offer in front of the wrong people can be discouraging. But when someone is already out searching for help with the problem your offer solves, meeting you is like a breath of fresh air.
On Day 4, you’ll identify which job roles own the problem you solve within their own company. These are your potential clients. By the end, you’ll know whether you’re ready to validate your offer through conversations with real people—or more clarity is needed first.
This workshop is not for everyone.
This is for people ready to be known for their true impact. Not hide behind the keyboard.
Who this IS for
- You’re in senior, lead, or consultant technical roles—and know your skills aren’t being fully valued.
- You’re tired of watching companies profit 10x off your work while you argue salary or bill rates.
- You want to own your time and direction. But need a structured way to start.
- You’re willing to say “no” to work that doesn’t help you build authority around an area of expertise.
Who this is NOT for
- You want certainty that your offer is perfect before sharing it with anyone.
- You want a guaranteed client or a passive lead system.
- You’re not willing to talk to people who own outcomes (even gently, as exploration).
- You want to pick a technical niche, not a business-objective-led offer.
Why this workshop actually works
Many developers try to go solo through hourly freelancing or contracting.
But they stall without a proof-of-concept offer rooted in business value worth pursuing.
This workshop gives you a starting position and language to begin learning from real conversations—and that’s what leads to sales.
In 4 days you’ll leave with:
- A clear business value position so decision makers treat you as a strategic partner.
- A list of potential advisory activities you can deliver repeatedly to multiple clients.
- A target market focus so you know which industry and buyer to get your offer in front of.
- A first pass at pricing so you pursue an offer with a potential $300/hr or more for your time.
- A next step recommendation so you know whether you’re ready to talk to people, or more clarity is needed first.
How this workshop uses AI
Drafting an advisory offer requires learning new concepts, completing activities, and being coached through challenges that arise.
The Signature Offer Workshop provides access to the DevReborn Advisory Assistant Legion.
The Legion is a small set of custom GPTs that will assist you in completing activities. These purpose-built chatbots help you apply the unique experiences you’ve had over your tech career, to the structured processes in the workshop.
By using the Legion, you’ll get interactive help and avoid common mistakes.
What you do with these chatbots runs inside your own ChatGPT account.

Meet your guide
I’m Jayme Edwards, and I’ve spent 30 years in software industry. First as a developer and architect, then as a consultant, coach, and creator. Over the years I’ve worked with more than 25 companies across industries ranging from finance to healthcare to energy. That breadth taught me a critical lesson: no matter the stack or domain, developers face the same trap of being undervalued.
Through my YouTube channels “Developer Reborn”, “Healthy Developer”, and private coaching—I’ve worked with hundreds of developers worldwide. And I’ve seen firsthand how reframing their experience into business value can help them be positioned for higher leverage while working in tech.
