Listens: the screams of a dying ghost (the ghost of reason)

why. i'm not even asking anymore. we try to revert to what we know works, and/or what pleases others because we're unsure of ourselves and any new discoveries we may've made. and sometimes its blatant. those that "know" don't ever feel the need to prove themselves. it's even beyond presumption, they just "KNOW." the ones who will vehemently argue for their cause are the ones who are least sure of themselves. the man who fears he may enjoy homosexuality may go to extremes to prove his machismo. the highly religious man who craves sexual relations becomes a priest in order to go beyond his neuroses, to cut it off at the wound, in his extremist action. wittgenstein said something about this. there is no point in trying to prove something, or making any declarations about anything, if you have no doubt of the fact of its truth. such actions are *based* on doubt. there is more, but i am drunk and tired. oh well...
