2 dream things i had to get down before i forgot them
-i'm dreaming, and in my dream i have a bug bite on my left hand that itches. it's not a significant part of the dream, just a random periperal component that i quickly forget about. later after i wake up, my left hand is itchy in the same spot and i itch it. i remember the dream, and assume that the dream was basing itself on a real bug bite that really itched in real life. but upon looking at my hand, i notice there is no bug bite there, and once i realize this it stops itching.
-this just happened about 15 minutes ago and is even stranger. surely some of you have experienced dreams-within-dreams, where you're dreaming and then wake up, only to actually still be in a dream, which you dont realize until you wake up for real. something like that happened, but more bizarre. in my dream, i was asleep in a dream AND lucid dreaming, not lucid dreaming in the actual dream, but lucid dreaming in the dream-within-a-dream.
i was dreaming i was driving down some random highway, perhaps somewhere in the midwest, late at night. suddenly, the steering wheel stopped responding as well as the accelerator, and i realized the car had died while moving. i started to think of what to do in such a situation and then realized i was dreaming and it didn't matter. so i decided to let the car drive itself while i got out of my seatbelt and began opening the sunroof that i had just willed to appear. i opened it and began feeling the cool wind blowing against me. it felt so good, but i decided i wanted more to happen. so i decided to will aliens to come and "abduct" me so that i could talk to them. i went to the back of the car, opened a back window and began flailing my arms out the back waiting to be picked up, but i began hearing a very eerie, chilling sound that i recognized as coming from outside my dream, i.e. in real life, and i was afraid it would negatively affect any meeting with aliens (i was worried it would turn my feeling of gladly welcoming them into a feeling of being afraid of them. this should've been a key that i wasn't fully lucid, as there would be no need to fear the aliens since i'm the one creating them). so i decided to wake up. sure enough, i was in my bed (my bed from a house i no longer live in) and had been sleeping. the window was open and a cool breeze was blowing in, which explained my feeling a cool breeze hanging out of the car. having "woken up," i lost the lucidity (obviously. else i would've realized that i no longer lived at the house i woke up in) and assumed everything was real. i no longer heard the eerie sound that i heard when "asleep," but i guess i recognized that something was up because i then woke myself up again to "actual" reality. and here i am. then again, maybe i'm really only dreaming this. anyway...
