i said that i felt like i merely represented a little bit of everything, that i merely reflected the world, that i'm so open that it all comes through and i don't know what to do with it. well, i should say that i think this is the direction we are all headed in, and i think that my case might just be that i'm a few steps ahead.
the hallmark of our times is the overflow of information, the bombardment of our senses, the confusion with the multiplicity, and thus the inability to focus (ADD) or stay focused, the feeling of being handicapped by so many options and thus unable to make decisions. i think we're all headed in this direction and i feel like i'm just a concentrated version of that. or like i'm a testcase for what everyone else is to soon be experiencing.
