Meet DJ John Richards

With over two decades as the Morning Show Host at KEXP,  DJ John Richards has been instrumental in building community and providing a global soundtrack to listeners worldwide. 

He’s renowned for curating the station’s hit “Runcast” and co-hosting “The Dr and the Dj” podcast alongside his spouse, Dr. Amy Lindsey. Beyond radio, John is a co-owner of the popular bar, Life on Mars, and a frequent public speaker, hosting benefits, and parties as well as addressing themes of grief and mental well-being. When not on the air or at the bar, he is a father to his sons, long-distance running, meditating, or taking a nap.
