DJ SK=E
A cultural architect.
DJ Skee has built a genre-defying career by fusing creativity, culture, and innovation across music, sports, entertainment, and tech. Whether launching talent, shaping platforms, or creating viral moments, he’s become a behind-the-scenes force driving what’s next.
Artists including Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone have credited Skee as the first to give them a break—whether it was producing early mixtapes, booking their first shows, featuring them on TV, or playing them on radio before anyone else.
He is a pioneer of YouTube content, producing a daily show for over a decade and generating billions of views, while reinventing how music videos were made. At the same time, he was on-air seven days a week across SiriusXM and KIIS FM, influencing the sound of a generation.
In sports, Skee made history as the first-ever DJ at an NFL game, NASCAR race, and University of Michigan event. He’s worked closely with teams including the LA Rams and Philadelphia Eagles, helping reimagine the fan experience through music, tech, and culture.
His media work spans film, TV, and music. He co-produced Kobe Bryant’s “Up Close” special with Jimmy Kimmel and Mark Cuban, created and hosted Skee TV (5 seasons on FUSE and AXS TV), and produced documentaries including Netflix’s Sneakerheadz. On the music side, he has produced records for Michael Jackson, Chris Cornell, and Nipsey Hussle, and created soundtracks for major games like Fortnite and Halo—further cementing his place in the creative ecosystem.
As a business innovator, Skee helped pioneer influencer marketing as a teenager—most notably with the T-Mobile Sidekick—before playing a key role in the launch of Beats by Dre. He’s since worked with iconic brands including Nike, Google, and Daimler-Chrysler, and was a business partner with Nipsey Hussle. As an investor, he’s identified trends early, placing seed or early-stage bets on multiple unicorns including Airbnb, StockX, Liquid Death, Fever, Whatnot, and Underdog Fantasy Sports.
A recognized force in the sneaker and memorabilia worlds, Skee is considered one of the largest collectors globally, with his personal archive shaping culture, commerce, and curation.
Now, he’s focused on transforming the collectibles industry as the founder and CEO of The Realest—a next-gen memorabilia platform built to eliminate fraud and unlock new revenue for athletes, artists, and entertainers. With viral hits like the Philadelphia Eagles playoff snow collectible, featured on Good Morning America and in The New York Times, The Realest is redefining what memorabilia means in pop culture.
Off the stage and behind the scenes, Skee stays grounded in philanthropy, supporting youth programs, education initiatives, and community outreach through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and foundations in underserved communities.
Recognized by Forbes’ “30 Under 30,” Billboard, The New York Times, and honored with an official “DJ Skee Day” in his hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota, Skee’s legacy is still being written—one innovation at a time.
