Pillar Wallet

Take Control Of Your Funds

Pillar is a community-run smart contract based wallet supporting Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains in a unified multichain experience. Powered by the native Etherspot SDK and governed by the Pillar community DAO through its own native token $PLR.

History Overview

Founded in 2017, Pillar Project was launched to change the way assets and data are managed, as well as the way services are accessed, by building an intuitive platform with user's privacy at its core. Pillar's vision for its platform is a user-centric one, giving trustworthy access to the crypto world and the most popular web3 platforms to users who also decide on the future of the platform through the decentralized governance.

The first public product release took place in December 2018, when the Pillar Wallet app was launched on iOS and Android. In 2019, Pillar recognizing the industry trends became a smart contract based wallet. The latest product, released in June 2021 Pillar V2, is the multichain wallet allowing for cross-chain asset management on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains.

In 2020 Pillar Foundation decided to start gradually shifting decision-making power to token holders in the Pillar DAO. This confirmed project's community-first ethos and made Pillar the platform where users vote on funding development, business or marketing initiatives. Pillar governance venues are open and available to all PLR holders enabling them to have a say on the project's future.
