a site is a published folder with its own URL. each site gets a subdomain like yoursite.tinydot.com.
creating a site
- go to tinydot.com/sites
- click "create site"
- enter site name and subdomain
- choose a template
- click create
your site is immediately live and publicly accessible.
subdomains
subdomains must be unique and can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
examples:
blog→blog.tinydot.commy-portfolio→my-portfolio.tinydot.com
you can change your subdomain anytime in site settings.
templates
templates control how your site looks:
- finder - apple finder-style file browser (default)
- future - 1990s web aesthetic with simple links
- romi - minimal design with red accents
- human - friendly design with adjustable typography
switch templates in site settings → customize.
site settings
access settings by clicking the gear icon on your site:
- change subdomain
- switch template
- customize colors and menus
- delete site (files are preserved)
custom domains
point your own domain to your tinydot site. go to site settings → customize → custom domain.
multiple sites
you can create multiple sites, each with its own subdomain, template, and customization.
deleting a site
deleting a site removes the subdomain and public access. your files remain in your account and can be used for a new site.
