Our next wedding in October! I am proud of KayDee and Tanner, they are awesome!

As they get ready to ride out into the sunset Ben and Lindsay are given yummy treats by Jim, Lindsay's Dad. I would not of even thought of that! But they were busy talking and letting everyone know that they cared about them too. Its good we have each other, as we can't all remember to do everything all the time. Some of us less than others now and again. They are coming home tonite and life will be getting back to normal. I have to ask myself what is normal and do I want that normal again? The good answer is that life is always changing and we are doing allot of that practicing and trying to put the Master into our minutes. Finding the joy along the way is like desert. The non joy is like the flour salt water ect that make up life.It can also be some of our best, how to say it, magum opuses, you know the charlies monuments of our lives. Well a toast to life, may we all seek out the Master. Thanks for your patience Love ya all Debbie
Woops, I forgot to write about the luncheon pictures. Two of Gayleen's sisters and their husbands were our first guests, from Lindsay's side of the family, at the luncheon. They were all so nice and fun. Just fit right in. It would be lovely to be one of six sisters. Thanks to all the Brock sisters and family for the reception that was magical and fun. We know they are all wonderful!
Then we make it to the reception. Did I tell you I just love pictures. Really they are a blessing to be shared. Reminds me a bit of the blues brothers. I hope you enjoy.
I have had a hard time getting this post done. Had it written and then it was gone. In a blink of an eye, gone. How many things in my life are like that? Its okay though,
I do have something that will see me through each and every blink and that is
my testimony of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They are right, you know, It is not easy,
but it is worth it. That seeking out of our Lord. The search though the woods of our souls. Though the time we have here and what we choose to do. Through the people we love
and what we choose to do to each other. The good times and the bad.
Its in those Sunday school answers that we will find our strenght.
Consistent prayer, scripture reading and then the good works,
the good works that get us up and moving, practice makes perfect they also say.
I'm thinking its gonna take a lot of practice.
Any way I need to get these up. I love pictures that turn out well.
They are like a testimony. We are spiritual being having a earthly experirence.
Sorry these are so mixed up.
I decided to mop the kitchen floor as these take time.
Of course time would give more order to the posting,
but I just need to be done.
It's hard to find the balance in this life.

Some pictures from the lunch on Saturday.
Becky and jerry setting up music. Molly helping setup. Thanks everyone very much for all the help and support. Our first lunch guests.

Where's the food?
A miracle was preformed by Becky when she found the post that disappeared! I know, I need a class... but on the bright side I am always so happy when she rescues me like that.
I have lots of pic to post but only can do 5 at a time with each post. Patience is my one great weakness ; >

Things have piled up around here until there is so much that has to be done that its hard to pretend that goofing off is a good option! Each day I make more progress back to normal,
a piece of garden with no weeds, laundry going from dirty to clean, I even shampooed the carpet(most of it) downstairs.
That dirty place in front of the washer,
why did I not do that last year?
Our shampoo machine is great . It does runs out of water fast and then its up the stairs to dump out black water and in goes clear clean water, must have done that 15 times,
but it was worth it.
But I need to go back and not forward with this post.
Sunday we went to Dann and Terry Lee's for a Fathers Day bbq. Nat made some moist and tender chicken, yummy. There were salads and yummy potatoes made
from the Saturdays leftover baked potatoes .
It was fun to visit with everybody and family get- to -gethers a good thing.
Then we had to get home as we had some stuff planned.
Pretend you are watching a young man with a purpose. Roasting marshmallows!
Any excuse for a fire is my motto. I was impressed by the careful preparation of the fire wood. A hatch was obtained from uncle Terry, with the proper warnings,
of course.
Then over the next hour Alix steadily made a pile of kindling, then the next size and the pieces of wood that would fit the fire pit. Then he stacked it log cabin style in the pit.
So you see it was waiting part of the day sat and all day Sunday for us to come home and light it. Fire!!!!!! And boy did it light easy. Best fire ever. Ben would have been proud. Oh yeah,
I think we texted him a picture, It was just such a good fire.

Wow, what a blessed weekend! Family, friends, celebrations,
and of course all the things that go wrong but turn out right because of attitude,
for lack of a better word.
Better word "faith".
Faith in each other and our love,
that when its all put together, it is enough.
Thank-you family and friends for all the love and support.
There are so many things to write about , where to begin?
I am beginning at the end.
As Nan and the boys got ready to leave this morning
there was a feeling of joy in the house.
Joy of time well spent.
Listening to Nan tell the boys, yes this , no that,
a seeming constant communication between Mom and boys.
Made me think of the Sons of Heleman.
"Their mothers told them so".
I could hear it for the first time in Nan's voice and the way the boys
listened and obeyed.
The, maybe tired, but calm faithful voice of a mother,
teaching, repeating, layering values of goodness, fairness, leadership.
Character traits instilled with each day she meets the demands of motherhood.
I saw this in our various family members all weekend.
I'am so grateful to them for their faith and love.
Take the dog out, I'm not hungry, can I skip breakfast?
No, you need to eat something before we leave.
Get your stuff out to the car, Levi will you help your brother?
Make sure you have not forgotten anything.
This is Levi and Micah eating breakfast.
Levi says "Let's go out and swing one more time . Okay but I get the red swing.
No its who ever gets there first. No I get to call it.........then you here laughter
and know the swing will be lonesome once again when they leave.
Alex and Micah are swinging high when Nan tells them she is leaving
and off they jump screaming and yelling, wait we're coming.
Then all of us are out the front doors only to get stopped by the sidewalk chalk pictures.
They form a line and take turns jumping to the game drawn on the driveway.
Nan and I watch a minute. Reminds me of the Beatles,
3 in a line, like they are crossing the street.
Its been an hour of constant motion to get them to this point
and they are still not in the car!
I am just going to start the car and see what they do, Nan says.
Three heads pop up as they hear the car start
and in one boisterous uproar of motion they all run to the car and climb in.
Hey Aunt Debbie? if you find any of my stuff will you save it for me,
Micah says as Nan is backing out.
If I find it I'll make sure it gets put to good use Micah and
everybody waves and laughs as the car pulls away.
I will make a pile and make sure it gets to your house,
except for the melted buterfinger bars in the frig, don't want them to go bad...
Buster will also be missing his jug of water before it gets back to you...
They are like a small hurricane that passed through
and left the land upturned ready to plant some new seeds.
Wonder what we'll plant next?
