Whether it's providing emergency shelter, a hot meal, help with a search for housing or moving forward in life, the Downtown Mission is here with a message of hope through faith and caring.
We are a Christian, faith-based, registered not-for-profit organization with a focus on serving and advocating for those who struggle with poverty and homelessness - men, women, youth and families, ALL are welcome!
Our meals are prepared
daily on-site under the trained
supervision of the culinary staff.
Guests can get shelter during the day through our Daytime Programming and overnight through our Sanctuary Program.
Emotional support, crisis intervention, community referrals, addiction and recovery, parenting education and support, job readiness and much more.

Since it began in 1972, The Downtown Mission has continued to develop and change to proactively meet the needs of our region’s ever-changing population. The Mission’s work and our region’s most vulnerable is all due to the generosity and support of our very compassionate community members. Today, with your continuing support, gifts and encouragement, the Downtown Mission is a place of solace, compassion and hope for hundreds of men, women, youth and families every day!
