Haven't posted on here for a while. Uni is getting me down and I have been sick. Have been reading everyone elses stuff though. Just wanting to say I am still alive and I hope all is well with you :)

So much going on and I haven't updated my journal in forever, I a keeping track of most of the communities I am in, but it has been a while since I was really active. untapdtreasure  has managed to get me excited about the return of Law and Order CI so i have a few icons from there as well as my ilt at turbo_lims  to post sometime soon.

turbo_lims  was an interesting experience, 12 icons in a month with quick voting, a bit disapointing as not too many people entered (so many of my fandoms and icontests seem to have ground to a halt) but the quality of the entries was amazing, and it was a new way of iconing (so often i have pics chosen for me) and i learnt a lot. And I came second, squee!

Life is crazy busy with final year of Uni and work and family and no time, but been doing well. Got myself into Studio 60 - Brad Whitford I love you- and finally FINALLY started watching X files that i sort of missed when i was younger, really really loving it, rocking the 90's! And Mulder and Scully are going to become love very quickly! Also had a best of West wing with a friend of mine, what a great show. Apparently Allison Janney is going to be in a comedy Mr Sunshine which i am so so stoked about, I love that woman and years later I am still miss CJ Cregg.

Also bought season 2 of Sanctuary even though i have seen the episodes, and will have a run through again when I have time. The Airing of Sanctuary (and all television) is a bit screwed in Australia so I dont know when we will be blessed with some more Amanda Tapping...

Got some textures I will upload soon, hope all is well and Happy easter everybody

very excited, hoping it looks of and I haven't missed anything. I altered a version from ruemadame  and i dont really know too much about it, so i may have some weird colors cropping up. who knows. Anyway its mainly to go with the new banner, also have a profile code to match by crimson_rakuna pretty stoked. Its sort of a continuation on my strong women role model thing I had going with my previous icon set.

Celebrating with two old mentalist wallpapers that i finished off, as well as some icons and a wallpaper from city homicide, my latest obsession. 23 hours until the next episode and there may just be a jen nick fangirl eplosion before then. So cute!!! (speaking of strong women - i may just be in lust with Nadine Garner)

Wow. Long time no icons. Been so busy with Uni i have neglected LJ shamefully but study is really taking up so much of my time. Done these icons over a month or so, playing around with soft textures and gradients as replacement backgrounds. Lots of soft light layers. Anyway, thought i would put them up (on the possibility that some of you remember who I am), most of them are Lisa Edelstein, Emily Dechanel and Kelli Williams. Got back into House and Lie to Me in a massive way, I have a weakness for strong leading ladies it seems. Haven't watched much Bones lately but Emily Deschanel is too pretty to resist.
