Tonight my wife and I watched a movie.
It's pretty rare for the two of us to have the time and the energy to watch something together. Yes some nights we will watch an episode of a favorite show but that's few and far between. We have two young children who exhaust her, since she's a stay at home Mom. Not to mention that she's an early riser and is one of those people who tend to need 10+ hours of sleep.
I am a late riser and have this completely insane unconscious desire to resist the temptation of sleep. Ergo I end up staying up far later than I should at 35 years old, or is that young?
It's funny how when we are younger we wear our age like a badge of honor, and strive to be older than we are. Eventually we hit this turning point where we try to apply the brakes to the ravages of time. Then the pallid attempt at self humor and mortification of the ageing causes us to turn the phrase of "35 years old" into "35 years young".
Feel free to insert your own age in place of mine.
Regardless of my above tangent the point of this is a movie that hit me in a much different way that of my wife. Here is the trailer:
