I'm going a little out of order here, but I wanted to post pictures of Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Geoff's visit in June. As always, we loved seeing them!!

Nana and Pops' Visit & 4th of July

Nana and Pops came to visit over the 4th of July and we had a great time. We had a yummy BBQ at our house with both sets of grandparents. Nana and Pops brought Gavin a "Little Firecracker" t-shirt which was too cute.

Standing

Not quite cruising, but moving in that direction. Notice that all of his effort in this video is geared toward getting Michael's phone, which is sitting on the hearth. He is captivated by cellphones. I'm very happy that I put up our fireplace hearth baby-proofing a few days ago, because it worked very well when he bonked his head on it. I also dropped the crib down today to the lowest level because I have a feeling he'll be pulling himself up on it soon.

Yoga Baby

Lately, Gavin has been doing this Downward Dog yoga position thing (see the video below). He is also full-on crawling now...much faster than you see in this video. I finally ordered baby-proofing stuff tonight...about 3 months later than I should have.

Susie came to visit before she heads off to college in Arizona and Gavin loved seeing her! I'll post a few pics later.

Done with intern year!

I can't believe we made it through...but intern year is over! I'm so glad not to be at the bottom of the barrel anymore. I can't wait to spend more time with Gavin (I don't know if I'll see Michael any more than last year because his schedule doesn't get too much better). I also can't wait to be able to keep in touch with friends and family again. I'll also be happy to give Grammy and Grampy a break from all they do for us. Gavin is awesome...he's so close to crawling:

He's eating 2 jars of food at each meal and then 2 bottles (or nursing if I'm home) a day. I'm so grateful that I've been able to continue nursing this long despite the hours that I work...I can't believe that I'm still producing milk despite going 14 hours without pumping or nursing and hardly drinking water during the day.

Nana and Pops are coming to visit tomorrow and we are very excited. I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to post. Gavin starts swim lessons next week...I'm looking forward to that except for having to wear a swimsuit.
