A decade after Berlin hosted DrupalCity, we are delighted to announce the return of DrupalCamp Berlin in 2024 as part of the official Drupal Week Berlin 2024! Join us for an unforgettable conference in the heart of the German capital with in a variety of events, such as the Drupal Business Day, Splash Awards Germany and Austria 2024 as well as DrupalCamp Berlin.

Nils Aderman created Composer - the dependency manager for PHP - and founded Private Packagist - a package archive as a service - together with Jordi Boggiano. After contributing to numerous open-source projects and different businesses using PHP for over a decade, he learned first hand what problems PHP developers face. His projects are now mostly focused on improving the developer experience around PHP and providing businesses with the tools to use PHP more efficiently.

Sascha Eggenberger is passionate about crafting exceptional, accessible, and user-centric experiences. With a decade of experience in the web and app industry as an Interaction, UI, and UX Designer, Sascha has honed the ability to create seamless digital products. In addition, Sascha brings over fourteen years of expertise as a Visual Frontend Developer, specializing in UI and interaction design. Leading mixed teams of designers and frontend developers is another strength, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Sascha's "T-shaped" profile is a key asset in creating outstanding user experiences, from initial prototypes to shippable products. This diverse skill set allows Sascha to integrate technical considerations early in the development of a feature, if needed, leading to innovative and groundbreaking solutions. Collaboration with multidisciplinary Product and UX teams is part of Sascha's daily routine, and there is confidence in writing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and using Git regularly.

While working for award-winning Swiss agencies Unic and Amazee Labs, Sascha had the opportunity to collaborate with national and international brands such as SBB, SRF, Audi, Nobel Biocare, Zurich Tourism, Drupal, Aduno Group, and many others.

Stefan Priebsch is CEO of thePHP.cc and has been an IT consultant for over 30 years. He is the author of several textbooks and was a lecturer for professional web development at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. Stefan regularly gives keynotes and talks at technology conferences and is the inventor of two patents. He lives in Wolfratshausen near Munich with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he plays electric guitar and researches agile home improvement.

Marie-Theres Dietz kommt ursprünglich aus dem Design-Bereich und hat viele Jahre als Frontend-Entwicklerin mit dem Schwerpunkt auf systemunabhängige Frontends gearbeitet. Sie bringt umfangreiche Erfahrungen aus der CMS-Landschaft mit und hat bereits mit verschiedensten Systemen gearbeitet. Seit über 15 Jahren beschäftigt sie sich intensiv mit den Themen digitale Barrierefreiheit und offene Webstandards. Als freie Beraterin und zertifizierte IAAP CPWA (Certified Professional in Web Accessibility) begleitet sie Teams dabei, Universal Design und Barrierefreiheit in ihre Entwicklungsprozesse zu integrieren. Ihre Expertise liegt in der Verbindung von Design und Technologie, um zukunftsfähige Weblösungen zu schaffen, die nicht nur visuell überzeugen, sondern auch gut zu bedienen sind.

Julien Hofer ist ein erfahrener Experte in den Bereichen Datenanalyse, Data Science, Chatbot-Entwicklung und natürliche Sprachverarbeitung (NLP). Derzeit arbeitet er beim Landesbetrieb Geoinformation und Vermessung (LGV) in Hamburg, wo er modernste Datentechnologien im Bereich Künstliche Intelligenz (NLP) zur Erstellung urbaner innovativer Produkte einsetzt. Mit seiner früheren Tätigkeit bei Urban Data Solutions, wo er unter anderem die auf Drupal basierende Beteiligungsplattform DIPAS mitentwickelt hat und den über 11 Jahren Erfahrungen als Dozent an der Universität Hamburg verbindet er Theorie mit praxisnahen Anwendungen.

Jürgen Haas is a Drupal enthusiast since version 4.6 and an expert in backend development and process automation. As an entrepreneur in the software industry since the late 80s, he's also an advocate for IT security and privacy, for a safer and better world.

I used to be heavy on Drupal in the 2010s, and had a job as an internal Drupal evangelist at Axel Springer. After then I have been working on large scale enterprise solutions or microservices using completely other languages/architectures. Since 2021 I have been working with Drupal again. I play around a lot with AI and Drupal since its awesome for prototyping/proof-of-concepting.

Joachim Nickel ist Matomo-Experte und als Präsident der Contao Association leidenschaftlicher Vertreter für Open-Source und das CMS Contao. Er teilt seinen großen Wissensschatz als einer der fundiertesten Matomo-Experten im DACH-Raum in Seminaren, Workshops und als Speaker auf Marketing-Events. Dabei präsentiert er Tracking und auch sein Wissen rund um den Datenschutz so unterhaltsam mit Storytelling, dass es im Kopf bleibt und Lust auf mehr macht.
